In some chapters the differences are minor but in the following they are significant: \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e-In the 1950 version, the chapter, \u003cem\u003eHypnotism\u003c\/em\u003e included significant changes to some of the text and much new text was added. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e-In the chapter \u003cem\u003eBeelzebub as Hypnotist \u003c\/em\u003ea substantial amount of text was added, with Gurdjieff creating much new material.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e-The chapter, \u003cem\u003eThe Change in the Appointed Course of the Falling of the Transspace Ship Karnak, \u003c\/em\u003e is missing entirely from \u003cem\u003eThe 1931 Manuscript.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e-The short chapter \u003cem\u003eJust a Wee Bit More about the Germans\u003c\/em\u003e is substantially different.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e-The chapters on \u003cem\u003eRussia, France \u003c\/em\u003eand \u003cem\u003eReligion\u003c\/em\u003e there is some missing text and the text is substantially different in places.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e-The chapter, \u003cem\u003eThe Holy Planet Purgatory, \u003c\/em\u003e is substantially different.
