🔥 Fire Safety: This ritual involves open flame and smoke. Never leave a burning candle, sage, or palo santo unattended. Burn all smoke tools over a fireproof dish or abalone shell. Ensure good ventilation when smudging. Keep water nearby. Extinguish all flames completely before leaving the space.

✦ WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 🕯️ White candle
• 💎 Selenite
• 🌿 Sage bundle
• 🪵 Palo santo
• 🧂 Sea salt

✦ PREPARATION

Choose a time when you will not be disturbed. Open a window slightly — this gives the stagnant, released energy a way to exit. Place your white candle at the center of your space. Arrange your selenite, sage, palo santo, and a small dish of sea salt around it.

Take three deep breaths. Set your intention: you are here to release what no longer serves you and restore your natural energetic radiance.

✦ THE SALT BOUNDARY

Take a pinch of sea salt and walk the perimeter of your space, sprinkling it lightly at the edges — or simply place a small amount at each corner. As you do, speak:

"Salt of the earth, pure and true,
Create a boundary, clear and new.
No stagnant energy may remain —
Only light and love sustain."

Return to your candle. Light it.

"As this white flame burns bright and clear,
So too my aura — pure and clear.
I release all that is not mine to carry.
I reclaim my light."

✦ THE SAGE CLEANSING

Light your sage bundle from the candle flame. Let it catch, then gently blow out the flame so it smokes. Beginning at your feet, slowly move the smoke upward along your body — up your legs, torso, arms, and over your head. Work from front to back.

As you cleanse, speak:

"Sacred sage, ancient and wise,
Clear all that dims my inner light.
Release what is heavy, what is not mine,
What was taken, what has lingered, what has overstayed.
I am cleansed. I am clear. I am free."

Extinguish your sage safely in a fireproof dish.

✦ THE PALO SANTO BLESSING

Light your palo santo from the candle flame. Let it smoke. Move it through your space and around your body — this time with the intention of inviting in the good. Palo santo doesn’t just clear; it blesses.

"Holy wood, sacred and sweet,
Where sage has cleared, now blessings meet.
Fill this space, fill this field,
With love, with light, with peace revealed."

Extinguish your palo santo safely.

✦ THE SELENITE SWEEP

Take your selenite in your dominant hand. Starting above your head, slowly draw it downward along the length of your body — front, back, and sides — about 6 inches from your skin. Selenite cuts through energetic debris and seals the aura.

"Crystal of light, pure and bright,
Sweep my field from crown to ground.
Seal my aura, strong and tight —
Let only love and truth be found."

When complete, place the selenite beside your candle to continue charging the space.

✦ STATEMENT OF RESTORATION

Stand tall. Place one hand on your heart, one hand on your belly. Feel yourself fully present in your body. Speak:

"I am cleansed of all that was heavy.
I am free of all that was not mine.
My aura is restored — radiant, whole, and sealed.
I walk forward in my full light.
I am protected. I am clear. I am myself.
So mote it be."

✦ CLOSING

Let your white candle burn safely for as long as feels right. When ready:

"I give thanks to the elements — earth, fire, wood, and light.
The cleansing is complete. The energy is sealed.
It is done. It is done. It is done."

Ground yourself — drink water, eat something grounding, place your bare feet on the earth if possible. Leave your selenite out overnight to continue its work.
