✦ Ritual Guideline: This script is offered as a basic guideline to help you voice your intention. It is not essential to adhere solely to it — feel free to speak from your heart, adapt the words to your own truth, or use it simply as a framework. Your intention is the most powerful ingredient in any healing ritual.
🔥 Fire Safety: This ritual involves an open flame and burning herbs. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn lavender in a fireproof dish if igniting. Keep water nearby. Extinguish all flames completely before leaving the space.
🛁 Bath Safety: Do not use the sea salt bath soak if you have open wounds, sensitive skin, or a medical condition that contraindicates salt baths. Test on a small area of skin first. Keep water temperature comfortable and safe.

✦ THIS RITUAL HAS TWO PARTS
Part One is a candle and crystal ritual for emotional release. Part Two is a healing bath to wash away grief and restore your energy. You may do both in one session or on separate occasions.
✦ PART ONE — THE RELEASE
PREPARATION
Find a quiet space. Place your white candle at the center. Hold your rose quartz in your left hand (receiving hand) and your black tourmaline in your right (releasing hand). Take three slow breaths — let yourself feel whatever is present. This ritual honors your grief before it releases it.
ANOINT & IGNITE
If you have a healing or rose oil, anoint your white candle. Light it. Speak:
"I light this candle for myself.
For the part of me that loved fully and was hurt.
For the part of me that is still healing.
I honor you. I see you. I am here."
THE BLACK TOURMALINE — RELEASING THE PAIN
Hold your black tourmaline. Feel its weight — dense, grounding, protective. Speak into it everything you need to release: the anger, the sadness, the what-ifs, the memories that sting. You can speak aloud or in your mind.
"I release the pain I have been carrying.
The grief, the anger, the longing, the loss.
I give it now to this stone — to be held, transformed, and neutralized.
It is not mine to carry anymore.
I let it go."
Place the black tourmaline away from you — to the side or behind the candle.
THE ROSE QUARTZ — CALLING YOURSELF BACK
Now hold your rose quartz in both hands. This is the stone of self-love — it calls you back to yourself.
"I call back every piece of myself I gave away.
Every hope, every dream, every part of me
That got lost in loving someone else.
Come back to me now. I am home.
I am worthy of love — beginning with my own.
Rose quartz, fill the spaces that grief has left
With gentleness, with warmth, with love for myself.
I am whole. I am healing. I am enough."
Hold the rose quartz to your heart. Breathe. Stay here as long as you need.
THE LAVENDER
Light your lavender bundle from the candle flame, let it smoke, and gently waft it around your body — especially your heart space. Lavender soothes the nervous system and calms emotional turbulence.
"Sacred lavender, calm my heart.
Ease the ache, soothe the sting.
Bring me peace where there was pain.
Let healing begin."
Extinguish the lavender safely.
CLOSING PART ONE
"I release what was. I honor what is.
I trust what will be.
My heart is healing. My heart is mine.
So mote it be."
Let the candle burn safely. Place your rose quartz over your heart or on your nightstand. Keep your black tourmaline near the door to absorb any residual heavy energy.
✦ PART TWO — THE HEALING BATH
Draw a warm bath. Add your sea salt bath soak to the water. Place your rose quartz on the edge of the tub where you can see it. Light a candle nearby if you wish.
Before you step in, speak:
"This water is sacred. This bath is a ritual.
I enter to release what remains of my grief
And to emerge restored, renewed, reclaimed."
As you soak, visualize the salt water drawing out all residual heartbreak from your body — from your chest, your stomach, your throat. See it dissolving into the water.
"The water takes what I no longer need.
The salt purifies. The warmth restores.
I am washed clean of sorrow.
I emerge whole."
When you are ready to drain the bath, watch the water go and say:
"As this water drains, so drains my grief.
It is gone. I am free. I begin again."
Step out. Dry off slowly and mindfully. You are new.
✦ AFTER YOUR RITUAL
Be gentle with yourself in the days that follow. Sleep with your rose quartz nearby. Return to this ritual whenever grief resurfaces — healing is not linear, and neither is this practice. You are allowed to take as long as you need.
