Howard Philips Lovecraft, 1890- 1937, was a renowned writer of horror fiction, most famous for The Call of Cthulhu. He wrote for Weird Tales and other pulp magazines, and his work mainly involved the supernatural, existential dread, and forbidden knowledge. Though he did not find success in life, his work become hugely influential on other writers, artists, and film makers. Other stories of note include At the Mountains of Madness, The Shadow Over Innsmouth, The Rats in the Wall, and The Dreams in the Witch House.
Sculpture is 6.75" tall, cast in resin and hand painted. Designed in collaboration with Abigail Larson.
