Also known as Indian tobacco, or pukeweed, this herb is traditionally used as a strong expectorant to clear mucus and ease respiratory conditions, and to induce vomiting. Due to its toxicity, it is rarely used today except under strict professional guidance.

It was historically used in tinctures or inhaled smoke for respiratory issues.

Warning: Considered UNSAFE when taken by mouth and can be TOXIC even in small doses. Side effects include severe vomiting, low blood pressure, convulsions, and potentially death due to respiratory paralysis.
