A Hindu priest in the lineage of Kriya Yoga famously associated with Paramahansa Yogananda, Kriyananda spent the greater part of his life instructing students in the Chicagoland area, having founded the Temple of Kriya Yoga and writing numerous books on spirituality, astrology, and meditation.
