Mist is the shortest distance between intention and air. A spray asks nothing elaborate of you: name what you want the room to hold, then let the scent draw the boundary. Cleansing before the work, protection at the doorway, opening the road when something has been stuck too long. What you are really doing is marking a threshold, and telling yourself, plainly, that you have crossed it.
