- Discover this Axinite prong-set ring, featuring a rare, rough mineral specimen with striking pleochroism that reveals shades of brown, violet, and bluish-gray from every angle. Expertly set in fine 925 Sterling Silver, the 3.5 mm hammered shank adds artisanal texture, adjustable comfort, and timeless elegance
- Axinite is a captivating and relatively rare borosilicate mineral, prized by collectors for its axe-like crystal patterns and vibrant colors. Its distinctive growth zoning (natural lines or striations on the crystal surface) adds visual texture, while subtle thread-like formations within the crystal further highlight its organic formation process.
- Renowned among collectors and mineral enthusiasts since the 19th century, Axinite has been prized for its rarity and distinctive crystal habit. These exceptional qualities quickly established it as a sought-after addition to both private and museum collections, where it continues to be highly valued today.
- Each Axinite stone is naturally unique and may differ slightly in shape and color. However, the item you receive will be similar to the images shown.
